Here’s some food for thought for today…
- Turns out French women do get fat, although not at the same rate as North Americans. And in Japan, after the age of 40, there is a legal requirement to keep your waist measurement under a certain size. I’m beginning to think we’re all spending way too much time thinking about obesity.
- Are detox diets a load of hooey?
- $5 sandwich, $10 meal. The economy might be on the rebound but the average consumer’s idea of what they’re willing to pay for a meal is stuck at the bottom of the barrel.
- Be happy, eat some bread. Have you noticed that people on low-carb diets are cranky? Turns out there’s a reason for that.
- Those onions are looking at me weird. A UK woman claims to have a vegetable phobia.
- Serving up a holiday meal when you’ve got a vegetarian (or vegan) at the table.
- A New Jersey candy factory gets its own solar array – making some truly “green” candy.
